My New Baby… Select Music Library

I cannot express how emotional, excited, and scared I am today. After 15 long and hard months of work, I am so proud to announce that official launch of Select Music Library, a premium music library for filmmakers, photographers, and creatives who license music. I am so honored to be a co-founder in this project along with my good friend, & composer Carmine Giglio who has been the best partner I could ever have jumped in business with. He is the one who pushed me when I needed pushing, who lifted me when I need lifting, and the main reason we have so many talented artists on our site today.

As many of you know I came from music and played in numerous bands as a keyboard player before jumping into video production. Now, I am a filmmaker having done tons of wedding films and commercial videos, I license music on a regular basis. I would spend hours or days looking for the right tracks and not finding anything. This was so frustrating because time is money. As a joke I always said that I wanted to start my own library. Well today it is real. Select Music is unique because its built by a real filmmaker (the customer) and a real composer. These are two parts needed to balance any successful music licensing company. I have a strong pulse on the video production industry and I have had countless conversations with my peers about the frustrations of music licensing. We are extremely filtered and selective with this library. We have about a 2% approval rate with artist submissions and we do not take full albums as they just fill up the library with unusable tracks. We will continue to add more features to the website and create an advanced machine learning algorithm that will deliver relevant results to our customers every time they log in.

We are just at the beginning of our journey we will be constantly adding new artists and music every week or month. Please meet the newest kid on the block…. Select Music Library
